Hi Everyone first! My nickname is Handsmist. I am 21 years old. I am a proffi electronical musicant. I have been making music for 4 years. My favourite music programms are: Cubase, Reason, Logic and especially FL Studio. I am not popular man in Astana. But I am in great demand in my friends. Friends want me to take an active part in their club parties. Soon my first album will be published called "Shut Up". It will be my first album with my lovely songs. Why this name? Because my friends call me Handsmist! It's very difficult to explain why they did it. I dunno perphaps they are quite mystic people and they like X-files and other scary films. They calmed me "Hand" first. i think it's very simple and not too difficult to pronounce. So then they added another name "Mist". Yea i liked this nickname at once and was very glad that they gave it to me. So till that moment i "wear" this nick! *laughing* Do you play live? Yea, sometimes. My friends call me on their parties. i am also a DJ. I out there my newest tracks and friends become hotter and more active on the dancefloor. I think that it's a bit cool. They like my tracks and think all people not only my friends like them. Well, but i am not ready for big stage yet. I think i must gain a lot of experience before i can show my entity on real world. How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry? Yea, sure. Many people have Internet at home. So they enter an world wide net and search for their favourite groups. Example i knew about "Dirty Vegas" in Inet and then wanted to buy their CD. Now it's one of my favourite groups. So, i think that Inet can change music industry and improove it. Of course about a half of people know about their groups only though Inet. It's great. Soon i think all mp3's will be in the Inet and people can donload groups CD's on-line. Would you still sign a record contract with a major label? Yea. As i said it would be cool. Think that we must move forward. Looking for new opportunities to do sensation in music world. Of course i will sign it but i need to see all rules and my compensation about this work. I need to know conditions and all people who work there. And after it i 100 per sent agree and sign all documents which i need to sign. i think it's cool when people notice you among crowd and suggest you to have collab. Maybe it sounds sarcastic but i wait for that moment=) But need a lot of work about sound quality. Band History: I began learning music since i was 6. At that time i went to musical school i learned piano, guitar. I have many fans but it's not enough for me. I will continue my work and i hope that soon somebody notice me and i will become famous all over the world that's my dream! Haha..if seriously i never think about my celebrity. It's a quite difficult theme and surely i want to be a well-known man in music world. But not now. I am in a early age now to do this. But in the future i hope it will happen=) Your influences? I like many Big man in world. Most influence people: Toby Emerson,Paul Vaan Duuk, DJ QuikeSilver, Dirty Vegas, Scooter. And classical groups like: Enigma, ATC, Blank&Jones, Plazma, Charango, Five, Yello, Alanis, Blue, Pod, Fat Joe, P.O.D, Tweet, Sash, Missy elliot, Boomfunk MC's. I can continue all day long. The list is really big=)) Favorite spot? My favourite spot is London and NY. I think these cities are more contemprorary in the world. There are many celebrities live in this city. It's cool when u walk along the steet and notice cool girl and try to talk to her them u have a relationship with this girl and at last u know that she is from rich family and she invite you to have a rest on Gavay. Haha..i like this moment. Well, these cities are situated far from each other and mostly they are sameness. i think English and Amecan people are alike. But it's only my discussion. i just like overcrowded city with big buildings and it's very exciting. Equipment used: Sometimes i use proffessional equipments like in big studios, but it was very seldom because i have not enough money for it! I can work in this studio maximum 1 day and then i can't afford to stay there any longer. Often i use Reason, Fruity Loops version 4.5.2, Cubase, Orion, Audio Logic. I know many great Music programmss but my favourite is FL Stuido 4.5.2. It's great studio with many opportunities to creat real good music! I have some synths like Yamaha-Piano, Virus Exxess B. They help me in my progress. *laughing.* Anything else...? At last i want to tell you about my favourite electronical styles: Trance, D'N'B, Tip-Hop, Techno, Rock & Roll, Rap, Pop/Funk, Pop, Instrumental, Industrial, House, Gothic Rock, GOA, Freestyle, Euro-Techno, Euro-Dance, Euro-House, Disco, Dance Hall, Country, Club, Blues, Acoustic, Acid.
