- TOR ZIRAEL has got together in May MM, when the first song - "Black Wind" - was excreted. That time TOR ZIRAEL sounded very similar to pagan black metal. Yet, composition was much more entangled than pagan metal acts provided ever. A year passed, then in May (yes, we are very mayish band, huh!) MMI a guitar demo "Zlo" was recorded. The first multitrack demo "Backwoods, Backwaters" was recorded in a short winter period and released on March MMII. It had been given a good local distribution and got more or less credible impact inside the Moscow scene. Then there was a calm period due to band's members remote vacations & various time-consuming occupations. Two and a half years have passed before we found together working on a new material (holding the hot line Moscow-Montreaux). The new promo is on the way to knock our metal label's doors. Performed in a highest quality and containing very vivid and emotional material.
